Vi var på en överraskande bra teaterföreställning ikväll. På vår lilla pub om hörnet här i Kävlinge gav Front Row Theatre Charles Dickens klassiker ”A Christmas Carol” i en enmansversion med Fraser James MacLeod. Settingen med kanske 30 pubgäster är ju inte så stor och det var tur att vi bokat bord ett par veckor innan. Vi gick dit utan större förväntningar och kom hem en riktig teaterupplevelse rikare. Dessutom passade vi på att testa Old Times traditionella Christmas steak.
Front Row Theatre brings this timeless classic to Old Times Pub. Due to the loss of his source reading material, Dickens takes the opportunity to dramatise – from memory – his classic tale, A Christmas Carol. Fraser James MacLeod plays Charles Dickens, who portrays every character imaginable: from the tight-fisted miser that is Ebenezer Scrooge to the ghosts of the past, present and future – and of course, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim, along with many others.
